Fall Games and Activities for Preschoolers and Elementary Kiddos

It's fall! My favorite time of year! I love pumpkins, changing leave colors and the cooler weather!

Fall games are also my favorite to create!

You know I love themes! All of our activities each month revolve around a theme! So fun!

Here is a quick list of activities and games that you can do with your child that are Fall themed!

Falling for Great Speech

First, let's start with a way to document all of the hard work your child does! Each time your child practices or does an activity, let them cut out (if your child is old enough to cut!) and glue one pumpkin in a space! When all of the spaces are filled, celebrate with a special little something! (read more about this here!) (Or go directly to this FREE printable here!)

Halloween Themed Speech Words

If you need a seasonal list of words that you can print out and have them on hand all season! I like to tape notes of things I need to remember right to my fridge! You can print these out and put them wherever you'll see them frequently to remember to practice relevant words all season! (find out lots of information about this here!) (or go directly to this printable!)

Berries, Bugs & Nuts Game

Ready for a fun game? This is a get up and go game that will have your child running around having SO MUCH FUN while they practice their speech sounds, language concepts or academic skills! (get this game here!)

Scare the Crows Away

I like open-ended games so I can work on different skills with any child! I can do speech sounds with one kiddo and language concepts with another and come home and work on math (or academic skills) facts with my son! The best part is, this game is available as a printable game OR you can play digitally! I use this game in teletherapy and face-to-face interactions! (get this game here!)

Simple Pumpkin Card Craft

I love when an activity can be fun, educational and we can enjoy it for a while! Your child can make this simple craft, work on language skills and you can use them to decorate your home so you can show your child how proud you are of their hard (fun!) work! Check out the post!

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds - 3 Ways!

Are you ready for three different and yummy ways to roast pumpkin seeds!? Here are some simple, child-friendly recipes that you can do together! Taste your way to better language skills with this fun activity! Get it here!

Now you have a few games and activities that you can do with your child this season!

Happy Playing!
