Don't Forget...

I'm still moving blog posts over!!

Welcome to Parents and Preschoolers READ!

I am so excited that you are here to learn more about some great children's books and activities that you can do with them!! This is not a series about teaching your child HOW to read, but rather a place to get ideas that you can do with books to make them come alive. That will develop a LOVE of reading in your child so that if reading is a struggle, they will have the motivation and the prior experience of books being fun!

Amazon's Top 100

We are using the current (at the time!) list of Amazon's Top 100 Children's Books sorted for ages 3-5 (so that leaves us about 35 on the list!). Check out ones we've done and check back often as I'll be completing activities! You can also subscribe and get the blog posts sent right to your email! (subscribe)

This is a great list of books to read to any child aged 3 to 5 (even 6 or 7!) and the activities will be designed to develop the speech and language skills of children this age!

Here they are listed alphabetically for your convenience!
